“This year, fewer people are able to participate simply because of the time commitment and the strain small businesses are under,” Fultz commented, “but we’re thrilled to be able to bring back a fun, free event for our community!”Īdvertising manager at The Globe, Fultz also shared that Worthington Wonderland participants can get their photo taken with a holiday themed front-page photo booth at The Globe office, 300 11th St., from 9 a.m. Worthington Wonderland first began in 2019, and Fultz said it is a great way to get the community in the spirit of the holidays. “Worthington Wonderland has been wildly popular since its inception,” said Roberta Fultz, a member of Worthington's retail committee. Threads & Décor will also serve treats as part of the event, and have a Worthington Wonderland sale. Kids who come into the shop will have the opportunity to make their own foam ornaments. The consignment shop will host several Christmas characters who will be available to take photos with, as well as a free craft activity. This is Threads & Décor’s second year participating with the Worthington Wonderland event. “It’s fun and free for everybody getting into the holiday spirit.”
“It’s just a great way for everybody to get to see what our community has to offer,” said Threads & Décor owner Jennifer Solt. This year’s Worthington Wonderland will include 14 different stops in town, from Ace Hardware and Johnson Builders & Realty, to The Daily Apple and Threads & Décor. As part of the festivities, local businesses and organizations will host holiday-themed events with activities, treats and spirited fun abounding.
